What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an identity and access management security method requiring two (2) methods of identification to access specific accounts and data. In addition to providing a username and password, users can enable a second method of verification to further safeguard sensitive data.
New user logins only require a username and password for Swivel. Enabling two-factor authentication provides another layer of security to ensure authorized access to your user account.
Note: In a former state, new user sign-ups required 2FA. As of 10/31/23, new users will only require username and password. Two-factor authentication is optional and can be enabled or updated at any time.
