Managing Agents Not Tied to a User

🚧 Important: Only users with the Owner and/or Manager role can create new Agents via the Agent section of Swivel. Only users with the Owner role can assign the agent to the user. See User Roles & Permissions for more information

Agents in Swivel

In Swivel, an Agent can be a user role, as well as the person charged with servicing clients, writing policies, or the Agent of record. There may be times where you have an agent listed on a policy, but they are not a user in your account. For example:

  • You have purchased or inherited a book of business and need to list the original writing agent on policies without giving them access to your account.

How do I remove duplicate agents?

  1. Navigate to Settings > click Data Setup > click Agents

  2. Navigate to the duplicate record > click the action menu and select Edit

πŸ” Tip: Delete will only be an option if there are no records tied to the agent. If this occurs, we recommend using Archive which will remove the agent from drop-down lists (and future use) but will still be saved on the respective records.
