Clear Account

Use this guide if you’d like to remove all data from your Swivel account and start fresh.

Before You Begin:

πŸ›‘ IMPORTANT! Clearing your account permanently deletes your data. Once complete, it cannot be undone.

If you’d like to keep a record of your current setup, export your data first. Follow the steps in Export Data via Reports to download your contacts, production reports, or transaction history as a .csv file.

How to Clear Your Account

  1. From the left-hand navigation menu, < click Settings > Account > General

  2. Click the Clear Account button

  3. To confirm deletion, complete the Clear Account pop-up by typing your account name

  4. Select from the following options:

    1. Apply Blueprints (RECOMMENDED)- selecting this option will reapply standard Swivel configurations to your account.

    2. Preserve Email Configuration - if your account is configured with a email account configuration, this will keep these settings in your Swivel account.

    3. Preserve Phone Configuration - if your account is configured with a Phone/Texting account configuration, this will keep these settings in your Swivel account.

    4. Preserve Sync Device Configuration - if your account is configured with a Swivel Sync device, this will keep these settings in your Swivel account.

  5. Click Confirm to begin the process.

πŸ” Tip: To find your account name, navigate to Settings -> Account -> General. Your account name is the top left hand corner of the General Settings box.

The system will automatically remove your account data. Depending on your data size, this can take several minutes.

What Gets Deleted

Clearing your account will permanently delete:

  • Contacts

  • Households

  • Opportunities

  • Tasks

  • Notes

  • Workflows

  • Campaigns

  • Automations

  • Tags

  • Custom fields

  • Contact lists

  • Products

  • Synced email and calendar

  • VOIP integrations

  • Documents

What Is Not Deleted

These items remain active in your account:

Can the Clear Account action be undone?

No. This is permanent. Please use with extreme caution. Swivel Support cannot recover deleted data once the process is confirmed.

Does clearing my account cancel my Swivel subscription?

No. This does not cancel your Swivel subscription or affect billing. To learn more visit our Billing and Subscriptions page.
