Overview
The Submitted Goals widget is a dashboard tool that allows you to track submitted production against defined goals.
It displays:
Counts of submitted products that align with your commissionable product lines
Goal progress based on those submissions
A quick view of how submitted production compares to defined targets
Who should use this
Users with the Manager and/or Owner role can set specific production goals for agents. These goals will display on the Agent's Submitted Goals dashboard widget.
How it Works
The Submitted Goals widget:
Uses the same updated calculation logic as other Production widgets
Includes only products tied to commissionable product lines
Tracks submitted items and compares them against configured goals
Reflects counts (not dollar amounts), aligned with the standardized calculation model
How to Set Goals
The Submitted Goals widget will only display information after Goals have been created.
Option 1: From the Submitted Goals Dashboard Widget
Go to the Submitted Goals dashboard widget
Click Set Goals
Navigate to the desired section (e.g. Current Year Production Goals, Future Goals , or Past Goals) and open the desired Product Line (e.g. Annuities, Life Insurance, etc.)
Click Set Goal button for each agent.
Enter the Goal and > click Save
Option 2: From Business Management
From the left-side main navigation menu, navigate to Business Management > select Agent Goals.
Navigate to the desired section (e.g. Current Year Production Goals, Future Goals , or Past Goals) and open the desired Product Line (e.g. Annuities, Life Insurance, etc.)
Click Set Goal button for each agent.
Enter the Goal and > click Save
🔍 Tip: Swivel will automatically format the amount entered into Goal as currency.
How to Use the Submitted Goals Widget
Add the Widget to Your Dashboard
Navigate to your dashboard customization or widget selection area
Select Submitted Goals from the list of available widgets
Add it to your dashboard layout
Review Goal Progress
The widget will display submitted production counts relative to your configured goals
Use it to monitor progress in real time
🔍 Tip: Once the Submitted Goal has been created, Swivel will display the monthly goal (Yearly Goal divided by 12) and the weekly goal (Yearly Goal divided by 52) so you can see if you're on track to hit your goal for the year.
Drill Down into Data
Click on the widget values to view the Sales Report filtered to the relevant data
Use this to analyze submitted items in more detail
🔍 Tip: Click on the numbers to go to the filtered Sales Report to see the policies & accounts the production is based on.
