Swivel comes pre-configured with the following Contact Types:
Individual
Company
π Tip: If you work with Trusts, depending on how you want the information displayed, we recommend the below options:
Option 1: Use the Individual Contact Type and add a Trust Contact Category. That way the Trust can be associated, also be a product owner, and can become a member of the household to show the trust products on the Swivel summary.
Option 2: Create a Trust Contact Type and a Trust Contact Category*. This way, the Trust can have a primary and secondary contact and Members. In this use case, the Trust can still be assigned as a Product Owner, but they will have a separate Swivel Summary not tied to the contacts or members.
*If you like the option of pulling reports on the type of trust (ex: Special Needs Trust, Revocable Trust, etc.), instead of using the broad Trust Contact Category you may want to create more specific Contact Categories.
