Institution Types
Examples: Banks, Broker-Dealer/Custodian, Insurance Carrier
After migrating data from Wealthbox, it is common to see Wealthbox or Unspecified listed as institution types. Reassign any carriers or institutions currently associated with these institution types to the correct type. Once all institutions have been correctly reassigned, delete Wealthbox or Unspecified as institution types.

Carriers & Institutions
Examples: Allianz Life, American Equity, Fidelity & Guaranty
If any institutions are currently assigned to a Wealthbox or Unspecified institution type, reassign them to the correct institution type.
After importing data, you may see multiple versions of the same institution name due to spelling variations, extra characters, or formatting variations (e.g., F&G Life, F&G Life Insurance, Fidelity & Guaranty-John). Merge all variations into Swivel’s standardized naming format.

Tip: It is common for duplicate carriers to each have products and contacts associated with them. This is expected and not an issue. When carriers are merged, all associated products and contacts are retained under the correct institution.
Product Lines
Examples: Annuities, AUM, Life Insurance
After migrating data from Wealthbox, it is common to see Wealthbox or Unspecified listed as product lines. Reassign any product types currently associated with these product lines to the correct type. Once all product types have been correctly reassigned, delete Wealthbox or Unspecified as product lines.
Product Types
Examples: Fixed Index Annuity, Variable Annuity, Immediate Annuity
After importing data, it is common to see multiple versions of the same product type due to spelling differences, extra characters, or formatting variations (e.g., Variable Anuity, Variable Annuities, Annuity-Variable). Merge these into Swivel’s standardized format.

Product Statuses
Examples: Pending, Active, Closed
After migrating data from a previous CRM, you may see multiple statuses with the same meaning (e.g., Open, In Force, Active). Decide which statuses you will use and merge equivalent statuses into a single standard.

Products
Examples: Allianz 222, Teton 7, AssetShield 10
After importing data, it is common to see multiple versions of the same product name (e.g. Allianz 222–1234567, Allianz Life 222, Allianz Life 222 Annuity). Merge these into Swivel’s standardized naming convention, which typically matches the product name used on the carrier’s website.
Agents
Examples: John Black, Carol Green, Susan Brown
After migrating data from a previous CRM, you may see multiple versions of the same agent due to spelling differences, extra characters, or formatting variations. Merge these into one agent.
It is also common to see Wealthbox Agent listed as an agent in Swivel. Merge these with the appropriate agent in Swivel.
Contact Categories
Examples: Client, Lead
After migrating data from a previous CRM, you may see multiple categories with the same meaning (e.g., Lead, Prospect). Decide which categories you will use and merge equivalent categories into a single standard.
Contact Statuses
Examples: Active, Inactive, Deceased
After migrating data from a previous CRM, you may see multiple statuses with the same meaning (e.g., Lead, Prospect). Decide which statuses you will use and merge equivalent statuses into a single standard.
