What is Compliance Archiving?
Compliance Archiving for emails automatically BCCs all outgoing emails sent from your verified company domain to a designated email address. This ensures a copy of each message is retained for auditing or regulatory purposes. It is not a reporting or analytics feature. It does not provide metrics, tracking, or insights on email performance. Its sole purpose is record retention.
How to Configure Email Archiving
Email archiving can be configured to support compliance requirements. Once your company domain has been set up and verified as an email sender in Swivel, you can enable a setting that automatically BCCs all outgoing emails sent from that domain. This ensures a copy of each message is retained for auditing or regulatory purposes.
Note: Before you can enable email archiving, your domain must be verified as an email sender in Swivel.
Steps to Enable Automatic BCC
Navigate to Settings > Communication > Email Domains.
Select your domain.
Click Edit.
Enter the desired archive email in the Always BCC this email address field.
If desired, add an email signature and select Automatically apply signature.
Click Save.
