List Dispositions
List Dispositions help teams track outreach progress for contacts within a Contact List.
Dispositions act as status labels so users can quickly see:
who has been contacted
what happened during outreach
what follow-up actions may be needed
This is especially useful for:
call-down campaigns
seminar follow-up
re-engagement outreach
appointment-setting workflows
team-based outreach tracking
What is a List Disposition?
A List disposition is a labeled, color-coded tag applied to a contact within a specific Contact List.
Common examples include:
Not Attempted (gray)
Left Voicemail (yellow)
Connected (green)
Do Not Call (red)
Each organization creates and manages its own standardized disposition values.
📌 Note: Your admin defines these options once in Settings > Data Setup > List Dispositions, and the entire team selects from the same standardized set.
Apply a Disposition
You can assign a disposition directly from a contact’s row in any list:
Steps
Click the disposition chip
Select a value from the dropdown (name + color)
The update is applied instantly
Key behaviors:
Changes sync in real time—anyone viewing the list will see updates immediately
Each update is logged, allowing you to track how long a contact remained in each disposition
To remove a disposition, select the “×” option at the top of the picker
Filtering by Disposition
Use the Disposition filter at the top of the contacts page to segment your list and focus your efforts.
Common use cases:
Follow-up targeting: Filter to Left Voicemail to retry outreach
Work queue: Filter to Not Attempted to see who still needs contact
Performance tracking: Filter to Connected to measure outreach success
Where Dispositions Apply
Dispositions are specific to a contact + list combination, not global.
This means:
The same contact can have different dispositions across different lists
Each campaign or workflow maintains its own independent status tracking
Managing Dispositions
New accounts begin without any dispositions configured.
Before using this feature:
A user with the Owner and or Manager user role must create at least one disposition in Settings → Data Setup → List Dispositions
Add common starter values such as:
Not Attempted
Left Voicemail
Connected
Do Not Call
You can expand and refine your disposition set over time as your outreach process evolves.
How to Create Dispositions
Go to Settings > Data Setup
Select List Dispositions
Click +New button at the top right corner
Complete New Disposition slide-out
Click Save
Disposition Customization Options
Add, edit, or archive dispositions
Reorder dispositions via drag-and-drop
Update colors and descriptions inline
Archiving a Disposition
Archiving a Disposition:
Removes it from the selection menu going forward
Preserves all historical data and reporting
Contacts currently assigned to it will retain that value
This helps maintain historical reporting consistency while keeping active disposition options clean and organized.
Best Practices
Keep disposition values simple
Too many disposition options can make reporting and outreach tracking difficult.
Start simple and expand only when necessary.
Standardize team usage
Ensure your team agrees on what each disposition means to maintain consistent reporting and follow-up processes.
Use dispositions consistently
Dispositions become most valuable when users update them regularly during outreach workflows.

Which reports support which conversions?

Some reports (Sales, Appointment, Commission, Opportunity) only offer Static because their filters are tied to report-specific things (start/end date, status, etc.) that don’t translate well to a live filter.
