Bulk Delete Compensation Records

This article walks you through how to delete multiple compensation records from a product at once

Swivel allows you to remove multiple compensation records from a product in a single action. This is especially useful for cleaning up duplicate or incorrect compensation entries without having to delete them one at a time.

Things to Know Before You Delete

  • Only users with the Commissions and / or Owner role can access the Compensation tab on a product record. See Swivel User Roles & Permissions for more information.

  • The summary tiles at the top of the Compensation tab (Canceled, Pending, Completed, and Total) will update to reflect the deletion once it is complete.

How to Bulk Delete Compensation Records

  1. Navigate to the desired contact and open the product record you want to clean up

  2. Inside the product, select the Compensation tab

  3. Click the three-dot menu (โ‹ฎ) in the table header row on the right side

  4. Select Bulk Delete from the dropdown

  5. Checkboxes will appear on every row, along with a select-all checkbox in the header

  6. Select the records you want to delete. Click the header checkbox to select all records at once, or check individual rows as needed

  7. Click Delete Selected

  8. A confirmation modal will appear showing the exact number of records you are about to delete. Review the count and click Delete [#] to confirm

FAQs

Can I undo a bulk delete after confirming?

No. Once you confirm the deletion, the records are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. If you are unsure, click Close on the confirmation modal to go back and review your selection.

Can I delete records with different statuses at the same time?

Yes. You can select and delete records regardless of their status, including Pending, Completed, and Canceled records, in a single bulk delete action.

Does bulk delete affect the compensation summary totals?

Yes. The Canceled, Pending, Completed, and Total tiles at the top of the Compensation tab will update to reflect your deletions once the action is complete.

What if I only want to delete some records, not all of them?

Use the individual row checkboxes to select only the records you want to remove. The select-all checkbox in the header is only needed if you want ot remove every record shown. The confirmation modal will always display the exact count of records selected before you finalize the deletion.
