Schedule workflows to run at a designated date.

Schedule Workflows

Similar to assigning workflow steps and/or tasks to be due on a specific date, you can schedule workflows to execute on a given future date.

📢 Note: Workflows must be configured and published before you can schedule a workflow.

  1. Go to Run Workflow option from any action menu (opportunity, product, contact etc.)

  2. Select a workflow from the Run workflow drop-down selection menu.

  3. Enter any additional details in Reason for running workflow field (optional)

  4. Go to Scheduled Start Date and type or select date from the calendar picker.

  5. Click Run.

  6. Workflow is now scheduled for a future date.

  7. Click Close.


Manage Scheduled Workflows from Workflows Button

You can view any scheduled workflow from any given record type. Record types include contacts, opportunities, products (accounts and policies), events and campaigns.

  1. Click the Workflows button to view the Scheduled Workflow.

  2. View Scheduled Workflow from Workflows list.

  3. When you’re ready to run a scheduled workflow, click Start Workflow.

  4. The workflow is now activated.

  5. This workflow will now appear on the Workflows Dashboard Widget.


Manage Scheduled Workflows from Workflows Tab

You can also view Scheduled Workflows from the main menu Workflows tab.

  1. From the main menu, click the Workflows tab.

  2. Click the Filter button.

  3. Go to Workflow Status > select Scheduled > click Filter.

  4. Search results return Scheduled Workflows notated with a Scheduled tag.

  5. Click the Start Workflow button to activate any scheduled workflow.
