Adding New Values

Swivel allows you to add new Values directly from the Product section on a contact page, or through the Advanced Setup section.

πŸ” Tip: When creating and labeling values, use the same or similar policy or account value names you typically find on a given institution policy or account statement.

Step-by-Step Instructions: Adding New Values via Product on Contact page

  1. From a Contact page, navigate to the Products section and > click the three-dot Action Menu and select Manage Values.

  2. Complete the Manage Values slide out form.

  3. Click Save.


Step-by-Step Instructions: Adding New Values via Advanced Setup

  1. From the left-side Navigation Menu select Settings > click Advanced Setup.

  2. Select the Product tab > click Products

  3. Click into desired product.

  4. Navigate to the Associated Values tile and > click Manage Values button

  5. Complete the Manage Values form.

  6. Click Save.

πŸ” Tip: Values are managed at the individual product level allowing you to customize your products as you need. For example, life insurance carriers may have unique rider or benefit values for their product offerings so the Value is specific to a unique product.


Updating Values for Existing Product

  1. Navigate to the desired Contact and, if necessary, create the desired Product.

  2. From the Product > click the Update Values button then > click +New Entry.

  3. Complete the New Entry form.

  4. Click Save

πŸ”ŽTip: For the Swivel Sync Supported Carriers, Values are already attached to their respective product(s). As we continue to add more supported carriers, there will be less need to manually "Manage Values" and then "Update Values."
