About Outlook Integration
Managing your appointments, events, and emails with leads and clients is easier than ever with our Swivel integration for Outlook. Outlook Integration features both email and calendar syncing with the option to enable email only, calendar only, or both.
Schedule appointments directly from Swivel into Outlook (and vice versa).
Log and store email communication for contacts and clients in real time.
Once youโve set-up Microsoft Outlook Integration for your Swivel account, Outlook events and/or emails will automatically sync directly to their respective contact records in your Swivel CRM.
๐ Note: Users can only link their Microsoft Email account in 1 tenant account. Even if a user has access to multiple tenant accounts, they will have to use different Microsoft accounts to have the Microsoft Outlook Integration functionality in both tenants.
Setting Up the Outlook Integration
Connect Your Microsoft 365 Account
In order to sync your Outlook calendar or emails to Swivel, you will need to connect using your Microsoft 365 login credentials.
Go to Settings.
Go to My Integrations.
Locate the Email & Calendar tile.
Click the Connect Account button.
Enter your Microsoft 365 account email > click Log in.
Enter your password > click Sign in.
Click Accept.
Settings for Calendar
You will now see your Microsoft 365 account listed in the Calendar/Email Sync section of Settings. A slide out will automatically appear to configure the remaining of your Calendar setup. The first tab in this slide out is for the Calendar setup.
Users will be able to select which of their connected calendars they would like integrated into Swivel.
For example, your Outlook account may have a calendar for "Birthdays", you can determine here if you would like data from that calendar to sync to Swivel.
When syncing a calendar or email account, use the โStarโ indicator in the next section to select which calendar an appointment associated to that user will sync to.
Manage Access - here is where you can determine which users in the Swivel account can view and manage your calendar account.
Settings for Email
The second tab in this slide out is for Email setup.
Users are able to create their Email Signature here.
Manage Access - here is where you can determine which users in the Swivel account can use your email address to send emails (1 to 1 or broadcast) in Swivel.
Keeping Documents/Attachments in the Communication Log - Users that have their Microsoft 365 email integrated with Swivel will see email attachments saved within emails in the Communication Log. Users have the ability to view and/or download the attachment to help service their clients or reference documents from past email conversations in Swivel. These documents will be available indefinitely or until the email is deleted from that users mailbox.
