Birthday Report
The Birthday Report provides a list of contacts filtered by birth month, making it easy to identify upcoming birthdays and plan manual outreach.

View upcoming birthdays by month
Create birthday call lists
Verify birthdate information
Identify contacts missing birthdate data
Plan manual birthday outreach
🔍 Tip: If your goal is to automatically send birthday emails or text messages, we recommend using a Birthday Automation. Automations can send communications on a contact's actual birthday without requiring manual action. To learn more, see Automations.
What You'll See in the Birthday Report
The Birthday Report displays:
Name & Contact Details – Name, address, phone number, and email address
Birthday – Birth month and day
Age – Current age, when a birth year is available
How to Filter the Birthday Report
Navigate to Reports > Birthday Report.
The upcoming month will automatically populate in the Month filter.
To view a different month, select the Month filter and choose the desired month.
To further refine your results, select Filter.
Available Filters
The Birthday Report supports a variety of Contact and Product filters, allowing you to narrow results based on contact demographics, assignments, product information, and tags.

📌 Note: Custom Field filtering is not currently supported in the Birthday Report.
Exporting the Birthday Report
To export the Birthday Report:
Select the Action Menu.
Click Export.

Use Birthday Automations for ongoing birthday emails and text messages, and use the Birthday Report to review upcoming birthdays, verify birthdate information, and plan personal outreach.
Optional: Send a Birthday Email Campaign
The Birthday Report can be used to create a manual birthday email campaign for contacts with birthdays during a selected month.

How do I create a Birthday Email Campaign Directly from the Birthday Report?
Step 1: Configure the Email Channel
From the Birthday Report, click the Birthday Email Configuration panel.
Select Edit in the Email Channel Configuration section.
Complete the configuration fields:
Account
Sender Name
Email Subject
Email Channel Name
Click Save.
Step 2: Create an Email Template
Navigate to the Email Template section.
Select one of the following:
Edit Email Template to use the rich text editor
Edit Raw Email Template to create an HTML email
Compose your birthday email.
Click Save.
Step 3: Create and Schedule the Campaign
Verify the report is filtered to the desired month and audience.
Select the Action Menu.
Click Create Campaign.
Enter a campaign name.
Click Save.
You will be redirected to the Marketing Campaign page.
Navigate to the Media Channels section.
Select the configured Birthday Email channel.
Click Schedule Emails.
Enter the desired send date and time.
Click Schedule Email Delivery.

What is the difference between the Birthday Report and Birthday Automations?

Do I need the Birthday Report to send birthday emails?
No. Birthday emails can be sent automatically using Swivel Automations. The Birthday Report is most useful for reviewing birthdays, creating call lists, and performing manual outreach.
Why don't I see a contact in the Birthday Report?
Verify that:
The contact has a birthdate entered.
The selected month matches the contact's birthday month.
Additional filters are not excluding the contact.
📌 Tip: The Birthday Report can also be used to identify contacts that may be missing birthdate information.
Why is a contact's age missing?
Age is only displayed when a birth year is available.
Can I export birthday lists?
Yes. Use Action Menu > Export to export the report results.
