Inviting Contacts to Swivel Client Portal

Once your portal profile information is completed (see Managing Portal Information & Profiles), you are ready to begin inviting your contacts to the Swivel Client Portal.

🔍Tip: Client Portal access is found at the URL: app.swivelapp.com. Once your contact has created their account online, they can also download the iOS app from the App Store - Swivel Portal.

Inviting from the Client Portal Tab

  1. Navigate to the Client Portal tab on the left side navigation

  2. Select +Invite Contact

  3. From the invite slide out, begin typing in the contact you wish to invite. Contact information will appear next to each client in the generated list to ensure you are inviting the correct person.

  4. Once you have selected your contact, you can now also select from your listed Company and Agent/Staff profiles to share with this contact.

  5. Select Send Invite

Once the invite has been sent, you will see this contact show up under the Pending invites tab until they have accepted their invite.

At any time while the invite is pending or accepted, a user can navigate to the Client Portal tab and select the 3-dot action menu next to their invite to edit their access, remove access, or resend the invite.

Inviting from the Contact View Page

  1. From the Contacts tab on the left side navigation, navigate to the contact you would like to send a portal invite to.

  2. Navigate to the Client Portal Activity Accordion and click to expand the accordion.

  3. Select +Invite Contact

  4. This will open the Invite Contact slide out. Select from your listed Company and Agent/Staff profiles to share with this contact.

  5. Select Send Invite.

Once the invite has been sent, a user can select the same +Invite Contact button from this accordion to view the status of their invitation or remove access. An Edit Access button will also appear next to the +Invite Contact button for a user to edit their viewing profile access at any time.

What Contacts Can Expect Once Invited

Once your contact has been invited by your organization, they will recieve an email from [email protected]. They should select Accept Invitation, which will take them to a page to create a password and accept the Swivel Client Portal Terms of Service.

⚠️ Important: If your contact cannot find this email, be sure to have them check their junk email folder. If they still cannot, a user in your Swivel account can resend their invite from either the Client Portal Tab or the Client Portal Activity Accordion.
