Overview
Swivel Summary provides a consolidated view of a client's policies, accounts, and related information. You can use it to review client information in Swivel or create a printable summary to share with clients.
Swivel Summary displays information available in Swivel for that client. What appears depends on the data available and the settings configured in Swivel.
A client's Swivel Summary can include:
Policies and accounts
Policy and account values
Contributions and withdrawals recorded on policies and accounts
Statement documents attached to policies or accounts
Summary Totals
How To Open A Client's Swivel Summary
You can open a client's Swivel Summary from several places.
From a Contact
Open the contact.
Select Swivel Summary.
From the Calendar
Open the calendar.
Select the client's appointment.
Select the Swivel Summary link in the appointment slideout.
From a Contact List
Open a contact list.
Select the Swivel Summary icon next to the contact.
If you need help creating or managing contact lists, see Contact Lists.
đ Note: A contact must have at least one active or pending policy or account in Swivel to view a Swivel Summary.
What Information Does Swivel Summary Display?
A client's Swivel Summary displays information available for that client in Swivel.
Policies and accounts are grouped by product line and displayed with the newest items first.

Active and pending policies and accounts available in Swivel appear on the client's Swivel Summary.
Policy And Account Values
Policy and account values appear when they are available in Swivel.
Contributions And Withdrawals
Contributions and withdrawals appear when they are recorded on the applicable policy or account.
Statement Documents
Statement documents appear on the Swivel Summary when they:
Are available in Swivel
Are attached to the applicable policy or account
Have the document type Statement
Only documents with the document type Statement appear on the Swivel Summary. To learn how to add Statement documents to policies and accounts, see Managing Statements.
Summary Totals
Swivel Summary can display totals for a client's policies and accounts.
Snapshot Totals show totals across the client's policies and accounts, including:
Total Contributions
Total Withdrawals
Net Contributions
Current Balance

Annuities

Customize a Client's Swivel Summary
You can customize which sections and information appear on a client's Swivel Summary.
To update display settings:
Open a client's Swivel Summary.
Select the gear icon at the top of the page to open Display Settings.
Update the settings you want to change.
Changes appear immediately and also apply to Print View.

You can choose which details appear for contributions and withdrawals, including:

Product Sections
You can choose which product sections appear on the Swivel Summary.
Each product line has two display options:
Header â Displays the product line header, current value, and summary totals.
Product â Displays individual policy or account cards.
You can hide:
Policy or account cards while keeping the product line header visible.
The product line header while keeping policy or account cards visible.
The entire product line by turning off both options.
Display Product Custom Fields On A Client's Swivel Summary
You can choose which product custom fields appear on a client's Swivel Summary.
For example, you can display a product bonus custom field so clients can view that information in their summary.

Create A Printable Summary For A Client
You can create a PDF version of a client's Swivel Summary to share with clients or save for your records.
To open Print View:
Open the client's Swivel Summary.
Select Print View.
Download, save, or print the PDF.
Print View uses the same Display Settings as the online Swivel Summary. Hidden sections do not appear in the PDF.
Customize Swivel Summary Branding
You can customize the branding and disclosures that appear on printed Swivel Summaries.
To update Swivel Summary branding:
Open Settings from the main menu.
Select Branding.
Under Logo, select Upload Logo to add or update your logo.
Under Swivel Summary Settings, select Edit.
Update the:
Title
Disclaimer
Select Save.

Why Can't I View A Client's Swivel Summary?
A contact must have at least one active or pending policy or account in Swivel to view a Swivel Summary.
Why Isn't A Policy Or Account Showing On A Client's Swivel Summary?
Swivel Summary displays policies and accounts available for that contact in Swivel.
If a policy or account is not available in Swivel, it will not appear on the summary.
Why Isn't A Policy Or Account Value Showing?
A policy or account value must be available in Swivel to appear on a client's Swivel Summary.
Why Aren't Contributions Or Withdrawals Showing?
Contributions and withdrawals must be recorded on the applicable policy or account to appear on the client's Swivel Summary.
Why Aren't Summary Totals Showing?
Summary Totals only appear when the required information is mapped in Swivel. See Map Values To Swivel Summary Totals.
Why Isn't A Statement Document Showing?
Verify that the document:
Is available in Swivel
Is attached to the applicable policy or account
Has the Statement document type
Only documents with the Statement document type appear on the Swivel Summary.
Do Display Settings Change Client, Policy, Or Account Information?
No. Display Settings only control what appears on the Swivel Summary. They do not change client, policy, or account information.
Do Display Settings Apply To Print View?
Yes. Print View uses the same Display Settings as the online Swivel Summary.
Any hidden sections or information will not appear in the PDF.
Can I Customize The Branding On A Printed Swivel Summary?
Yes. You can customize branding options, including the logo, title, and disclaimer shown on printed Swivel Summaries.
