Sending Broadcast Text Messages

Send Text Messages to Contacts

πŸ” Tip: We recommend creating the Contact List for your text campaign first to avoid any interruptions in creating and launching your Text Campaign.

Step by-Step Instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts (or Leads or Clients) tab

  2. Click the Text Message button to launch the Send Text Message wizard.

  3. Complete the Send Text Message slide-out form

    1. From Section

      1. Account: Select the Text Phone Number (if you have multiple, select desired for this campaign)

    2. Content

      1. Name: Enter the name of this text campaign (note, this is how it will display in the marketing section)

      2. Write your message here: this is where you will compose the text message

        Note: To view a list of personalization tokens, click the hyperlink on the "See personalization tokens here" text.

  4. Once you have completed the Send Text Message slide-out form < click Next

  5. In the To field, use the Contact List drop-down to select the desired contact list to receive this text message.

  6. Once you have assigned the desired Contact List < click Next

  7. In the Schedule Delivery section, choose from the following delivery options:

    1. Send Now select to schedule the messages to send immediately

    2. Send Later select to schedule the messages to send at a future date and/or time

  8. Once you have selected an option for the Schedule Delivery section <click Next

  9. Click Send to confirm and launch the text message campaign.


Send Text Messages from a Campaign

  1. From the main navigation menu, select Marketing and navigate to the desired Campaign

    1. If the campaign does not exist, <click the +New Campaign button to create the campaign.

  2. From the Campaign page, scroll down to the Media Channels tile and <click the +New Channel button

  3. Select Text Message from the +New Channel drop-down

  4. Complete the Send Text Message slide-out form

    1. From Section
